Latitude

UX - UI

Latitude is a trampoline/climbing park with 3 venues across Australia and rapidly expanding in Asia and Europe.

Since they first opened in 2014 their website had not been updated. As the internal UX/UI designer I created with the marketing team 7 tasks to test the website usability on mobile and desktop, with a focus on birthday parties and group event bookings.

Objectives:

1- Identify negative user experiences in birthday party booking flow

2- Identify negative user experiences in groups events booking flow

Findings:

User test run by external agency on 10 participants.

All 10 user complete 5 of the the 7 task without any major problems.

Task 5 and 6 had the lowest TCR score.

Task 5: Find more information about team event packages at Latitude.

Users didn’t find enough information on the website and didn’t enjoy having to download the brochure to find out about the different types of bookings available and pricing.

None of the users realised there was a specific page for pricing.

Task 6: Find out how much it will cost for a 1-hour team event with catering for your group of 10. Your budget is $400.

Most users were surprised to find out that they had to call the venue to purchase an event package.
Most common question was, why can’t I book online?

New Site map

Events page renamed Groups and divided into 4 main types of group bookings.

New Page structure

I created new modules for the group pages to showcase and better describe the different packages.
