Trippers App
UX - UI - Branding
When I first moved to Australia I spent a year traveling around the country, I rented vans, hitch-hiked and most of all had a one in a lifetime experience and realised that a lot of people come here for the same reason.
As the last assessment at General Assembly I decided to work on an app that helps travellers to find and offer rides.
How might I improve the ride-sharing experience?
After running 6 user interviews to subjects that fitted my persona, some competitors analysis I decided to work on 2 main scenarios.
Scenario 1 - I asked users to find and explore existing ride opportunity posted by other users.
Scenario 2 - I asked users to create their own ad to try and find some traveling companions.
There was some confusion with “Post an Ad”, the user didn’t understand the difference between “Offer” and “Wanted”.
Lo-fi prototype - User test 2
Changed the name from “Post an Ad“ to “Create your Trip“.
Simplified selection from 2 options to only 1.
Extra step added to help clarify the difference between Offer and Want with a small text explanation.
